Today we have brought you the recipe of chicken shawarma, so let's quickly note the ingredients and method of making easy shawarma.

 

Ingredients

To marinate the chicken

Chicken (boneless, small herb) ----------- 250 Gram
Salt ---------------- Half Tablespoon
Red Chilli Powder ----------- Half Tablespoon
Red Chilli ---------------- Half Tablespoon
Turmeric ------------------- Half teaspoon
Garam masala --------------- Half teaspoon
Dry Coriander Powder------------ Half Teaspoon
Garlic ginger paste ------- one table spoon
Lemon -------------- 1
Chili Sauce ---------------- 2 Tbsp
Soy sauce ---------------- 2 Tbsp

 

For Shoramae's Dough

Flour ------------ Half Kg
Salt ----------- one teaspoon
Sugar ----------- one tablespoon
Baking powder -------- one teaspoon
Yogurt -------------- 2 Tbsp
Cooking Oil ------------- 3 Tbsp
Milk (Mild) ------------ One cup
Water --------------- As needed (To knead)

 

To make the white sauce

mayonnaise ---------- One cup
Lemon ----------- Half
Garlic paste ----------- quarter teaspoon
Green Coriander ----------- 1 tablespoon
Black pepper ------------- A pinch

 

Other Ingredients

Cabbage
tomato
Onion
cucumber
Green peppers

Take the above mentioned items according to your choice and need, which you like to add and eat in Shawarma.

Method of preparation

First, put the chicken in a bowl. Now add salt, red chili powder, chopped red chili, turmeric, hot spices, dry coriander powder, garlic ginger paste, lemon, chili sauce and soy sauce and mix well so that all the spices are well coated on the chicken. go Now keep this mixture covered to marinate the chicken.

Now, while the chicken is marinating, prepare the batter for the shoramae. Take fine flour in a pot for the dough of Shorama. Now add salt, sugar, baking powder, curd, cooking oil and lukewarm milk. And knead the dough with water. Remember that the dough should neither be too thin nor too hard. Now rest this dough for half an hour.

Now let's see the step of making white sauce. To make white sauce, take mayonnaise in a bowl, now add lemon juice, garlic paste, coriander and black pepper. Then mix all these things. Your white sauce is ready.

Add one to two spoons of oil in a pot and add the marinated chicken in it and cook on medium heat until the chicken leaves water. Meanwhile, stir the chicken with a spoon. When the chicken leaves the water, cover it and cook on low flame for 6 to 8 minutes until the chicken is cooked well.

The extra step

If you like smoky chicken in shawarma, take a coal for it, heat it well and place a cabbage leaf in the middle on top of the chicken and place the hot coal on this leaf, now cover this chicken with coal for 10 to 15 minutes. Your smoky chicken is ready. But some people don't like smoky chicken. If you also don't like smoky chicken, you can skip this extra step.

Now let's come to the other side. Now make patties from shawarma dough and take a thick roti. Bake this roti on medium heat. Similarly, cook as many rotis as you want to make shawarma.

Now the last step which is the tastiest and yummy. Take a loaf of bread. Apply white sauce on it and add chopped cabbage, tomato, onion, and cucumber on top. Now add the chicken on top of it and fold the shawarma. Then stick a toothpick to keep the two edges together so that the shawarma does not open.
